ECS Tuning, LLC (EAH), a portfolio company of Bertram Capital Management LLC, acquired Texas Speed & Performance, Ltd. (Texas Speed), one of the largest high performance parts retailers in the U.S. specializing in the late model LSx and LT1 engine platforms, on 8/19/2019. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Texas Speed’s founders, Trevor Doelling and Jason Mangum, will continue to play a leading role within the organization. The company will continue to operate out of its headquarters in Georgetown, Texas, and offers all levels of aftermarket performance products from basic air induction and exhaust to cylinder heads, camshafts, and stroker engines.
ECS Tuning, LLC operates as a distributor of genuine, aftermarket, and performance parts for Audi, BMW, Mercedes Benz, MINI, Porsche, and Volkswagen vehicles. It also creates, designs, tests, and develops performance parts for cars. The company was founded in 1962 and is based in Wadsworth, Ohio.
